Trees.........

My Thought for this Day......Some days you don't need to see the forest for the trees. Just concentrate on your trees. Each stands for something that needs to be erased or fertilized. Study your trees.

Stage......

My Thought for this Day....If you can't be a good example for your tribe, then quietly take a seat and get off the stage. There is selfishness in realizing you are projecting pain and continuing your act. There is selflessness in exiting stage left.......if only for awhile.

Voice.....l

Wise is the voice that knows when to rise in indignation, yet remain silent when prudent.

Rear........

My Thought for this Day.........Some days you gotta be the one that walks at the end of the parade and picks up the horse poo. Recognize when it's better to let others lead and you just follow.

Fear.........

My Thought for this Day.......Never live your life without fear. Instead, live with courage to battle that which frightens you. How glorious is a victory won over tribulation that brings us to our knees.

Now........

My Thought for this Day.......Today learn to cherish the good things of life. Dim your lights of hatred and judgement and superiority. Embrace blessings. Give thanks for that which is enriched. You will never have today again. And quite possibly neither will you have its favor.

Race.............

My Thought for this Day........We all will cross the finish line of the human race. Our mission is not the speed, but the way. All paths lead to the same ending, but not the same beginning.

You.......

My Thought for this Day......It is said to speak truth into your fear and selfishness. Maybe you are fearless and selfless and therefore are bigger than this message. But, if like most of us, you are fraught with human frailties, then remember that there is a Truth bigger than you. There is a Force more powerful than any human spirit. The trick is to be sure you plug into the right power outlet. For you see, there are many false roads to walk, lives to live and words to prophecy. So if you do need to speak your truth, let it be the Truth that will carry you forth in a purpose of good, not evil, in a walk of honor, not shame, and in the end will glorify that which is due your fearlessness and courage.

Privilege.......

My Thought for this Day....This morning I arise with privilege. Privilege to wake up in a safe home, flip a switch for heat, open a tap for clean water, dress in warm clothes and leave for a job I hold dear. This morning, as in all mornings, let me acknowledge that none of these things are deserved. Allow me to humbly give Thanks and deeply ask for Forgiveness when I stumble, and gripe and view with envy the proverbial other side of the fence, never observing the weeds that run rampant outside my perimeter of Grace.

Pain.......

My Thought for this Day........We all have small nuggets, or huge boulders,of pain, grief or sadness known only to ourselves. When we are ready to air our hearts in the freedom of letting go, only then will we truly realize that we have risen from the ashes. The humanness of each of us connects our circles of life. I touch you and you touch me. This is one of the greatest gifts freely given to hearts.

Today.....

Today my Thought is simple.......Live, realizing not Only you abide in this world of Varying souls who simply want to Exist peacefully. LOVE

Gaze.......

My Thought for this Day......If you spend your life looking through a telescope for that one chance, that one grievance, that one trouble, you are missing the beautiful vista of life. Don't be centered on one thing; gaze on all life with wonder.

Words....

My Thought for this Day....It costs nothing to be emotionally classy. Think before you speak. Words cut.

Give......

My Thought for this Day....Don't continually give yourself away. Not physically, not emotionally, not wholly. The chinks in your armor become chasms of nothingness. Be the caretaker of your give.

Power......

My Thought for this Day.....Healing will never begin until you acknowledge the problem. Be vocal...if only to yourself. Acknowledgment may not win the war, but it will start the battle. Ignorance may be bliss, but it isn't a warrior. There is power and freedom in the one who walks with truth. Be that one.

My Thought for this Day.....What would people have done without you? When you answer this query with truth and soul searching honesty, you define your life.

Time......

My Thought for this Day.....In all ways you must give life to time. Time to prepare. Time to heal. Time to grow. Time to grieve. Time to be. There is beauty in the passage of time. For every season there is a time.

Past....

My Thought for this Day.......When your past catches up with you, which it surely will, then will you rejoice in triumph, or wail in despair? Think on this as you walk your present. Don't you see? Your present will one day be your past.

Core...........

My Thought for this Day.........How large is the circumference of your world? Folks who allow themselves to be the center of their universe live in a very small sphere. Expand your globe, allow others to share your core. Amazing things will follow.

My Thought for this Day.....Where do you tuck the stories of your life? Are they folded neatly into a square and carried in a chamber of your heart? Are they scattered throughout your body like shredded paper never to be made whole? Possibly, they are shoved into the recesses of your mind and at times only seem like an illusion of your past. I wonder. I think the placement of our stories tell much about ourselves. Where are yours?

Rituals..........

My Thought for this Day......What ritual do you have to let go of the day? A cup of tea, a dinner prepared, a glass of wine, a signal that gears should be shifted from drive to neutral? I fear we have lost the art of letting go of hustle and bustle. What pleasure lost in the slowing down rather than the ultimate crashing at bedtime. Not good for body nor soul. Beware the lesson taught to those whom you drag along your frantic circle. Rituals. They are to be treasured....even the small ones.
